Legs
Using baby oil or pure olive oil as a shaving cream for your legs leaves them silky smooth and nourished. It can also help the razor last longer and give a closer shave.
Steering away from shaving, dermo expert, Dr Michael Duggan recommends laser hair removal treatment for any unwanted body hair because the results last almost permanently, heavily reducing regrowth.
Beard
Most men remove their unwanted beard by applying shaving foam and using an electric razor. However, having a bit more patience can allow a different way to get rid of a beard. Depilatory creams like Nad's and Veet can be applied onto the area, left for 5-10 minutes and then wiped off along with the facial hair. This is an easier way than hand shaving, however you do normally have to spend a minute afterwards finishing off the job with a regular disposable razor just to get those last few bits.
Armpits
With armpits, the best way is the most common way: shaving with a razor. However, shaving with a razor can sometimes tear into the skin, causing rashes or pain when applying deodorant straight after. So depilatory creams can be applied if you prefer not to shave. To use them, you just apply over the armpit area, leave on for 5-10 minutes and then wipe off the cream along with the hair.
Chest hair
Sometimes women grow a few hairs on their chest. Shaving them with a razor is not recommended in this case as the hairs only grow back faster, darker and thicker. Plucking the hairs with tweezers is an efficient way to remove a few chest hairs as they don't grow back for 1-2 weeks after.
Bikini line
72% of women shave their armpits, legs and bikini line more than they wax. However, waxing the bikini area can cause the hair to gradually grow back thinner and thinner. It is also a well known fact that waxing lasts around 3 weeks until the hair grows back again, which is a lot longer than shaving.
After shaving or waxing, applying coconut oil or pure olive oil makes the skin feel soft and smooth.
